More exciting things are happening! Through our work with Inclusiv, and as a Juntos Avanzamos designated credit union, serving our local Hispanic communities is a top priority at Embold. We are proud to humblebrag that our very own Mauricio Soto has joined the Bienestar Board of Directors and our amazing Marisol Manselle has joined the NLCUP Pacific Northwest Chapter Board of Directors! 🤩At Embold, we offer products and services that directly benefit the Hispanic communities and families in our area; like ITIN lending and we also have Spanish-fluent employees at most branches to provide exceptional financial services to those who need it. We're so proud of Mauricio and Marisol for their involvement in their organizations, and we can't wait to see the incredible impact they will make in our community! 💕

Excited to share some #ThrowbackThursday news about our involvement with YCUP PDX! Back in January, our very own Sam Wellman, CCUFC, joined the YCUP PDX Board of Directors as their new Director of Communications. With his experience as a marketer in the credit union space and an education in media communications, he's been an invaluable asset to the team.Li Jacobson, MBA, our Chief Information Officer, was recently nominated and selected to speak on the 2024 YCUP PDX Women of Impact panel. At the event, Li shared her perspective as a minority woman in IT and how she set herself apart in the intense world of retail. Prior to joining the credit union, Jacobson served as Vice President of Digital Transformation & Global Technology for NIKE, Inc. Jacobson has also served in various capacities, including Vice President of Information Technology for Kohl’s Department Stores, and previously worked for Northwestern Mutual Financial Network. We're so proud of both of their contributions to and representation in the local credit union space! 💪💕

In honor of Juneteenth, Embold branches are closed. We acknowledge the significance of this day in commemorating the emancipation of enslaved peoples in the United States. To every single one of our neighbors, no matter what your story is, where you come from, or where you’re going, we welcome you and thank you for being a part of our community. 💕

At Embold, we never tire of supporting our local, underserved communities. We recently hosted a fundraiser for Exceed Enterprises in our Community Room, raising awareness for their impactful work in the community. Exceed Enterprises is a non-profit organization that provides job training and employment opportunities for individuals with disabilities. Additionally, we recently had the pleasure of celebrating the birthday of our favorite Exceed employee, Mitch. We are proud to support such a wonderful organization and to celebrate the accomplishments of our dedicated team members like Mitch! 💕
